Coming soon: a 1:43 scale collectible Blazer Chalet die cast toy
One reason why I want to live to be 120 years old is to see what kind of new technology develops. In this case, it looks like a Dutch collectible vehicle company has utilized the pile of photos at this old website sales page for Chalet #1683 in the latest 3D manufacturing technology to recreate it as a 1:43 scale die cast collectible, page link here, right down to the faded and incomplete peeled off camper stripes (they're supposed to be full and more colorful diagonals which wrap forward to the truck in the lower section). They say it is a prototype version, so I chimed in at their corresponding Facebook page for it with suggestions on what to correct, and I emailed them with the same message. Hopefully, they'll get it looking more like what came straight out of the factory into dealership showrooms.

Too cool. Any idea what it'll cost? They don't have prices on any of the current models

Good question. Their website is balky, at least on my browser, and I was hoping someone who can read Dutch might be able to spot pricing for their models. Probably expensive. For example, I've always liked one particular semi truck, and when I spotted a small model of it, I thought it was fabulous, until I saw the price. I'm poor as a church mouse, still relegated to buying diecasts at the grocery story for a dollar or two.
