TMI Console 25-83060
Anyone have one of these consoles? I’m trying to find out if the compartment is big enough for a stereo head unit. Thanks

Maybe email them and ask what the measurements are.
It looks like it be tight, And no way to get to the controls other than a remote. tmiinfo@tmiproducts.com |

Getting info from tmi hasn’t been easy. I was hoping one of you had one of these.

Re: TMI Console 25-83060
TMI is in Southern California, and is likely under the full weight of Covid impacting the area. They are 12-16 weeks out on drop ship orders (Shared by MCB Matt and confirmed by Summit). You may want to send a PM to MCB Matt, he may have enough experience to answer your question.
I would say that anything is possible if the console is as least as wide as the faceplate. You can remote mount removable faceplates too. However, in this day and age, the old single din stereo concept is dying pretty quickly. A lot of people are using their phones and a wireless hidden receiver/amplifier. It works out pretty well and you can mount your phone anywhere. You can even get it to work with a CD changer, if that is a requirement. You will find a lot of newer "traditional" car stereos don't even have CD players. |

I hadn’t thought about remote mounting a face plate. That opens up a lot of hiding places.
