Ralleyes on a 72 ?
Are the factory steel 8 ralleyes that are so common on 73 to 87 supposed to be on a 72 ? I guess what Im asking is were they a factory option on a 72 ? Im 62 yrs old and I just dont seem to remember that they came from the factory in 72 ! Anybody got any real information on this ?

Unless you're going for 100% original, there's no reason not to. They were a popular upgrade even back in the day.

White painted steel rims, and either white painted dog dish, stainless dog dish, or full stainless wheel covers. Over the past few years there have been a lot of rally wheels pulled in favor of white painted steel, and factory hub caps/wheel covers, but the overwhelming trend has been to the dog dish stainless hub caps. There have been so many rally wheels put on those trucks that many mistakenly believe they were built that way.
