Thoughts on drop amount and spring brand
I have used CPP Modular drop spindles and 1” drop springs. Depending on what source you use, the spindles are 2” or 2 1/2” so I should have 3 - 3 1/2” drop in the front. I have not set up the rear yet as I was waiting to match it to what my ride height looked like when finished. Taking some measurements and basing on what the rake looks like, I have about that amount of difference from the front to the rear.
That being the case, what would you run for a rear spring? I don’t want to end up rear end lower and if it were just slightly higher I wouldn’t mind. I just don’t want it looking like a cat in heat like it does now. I also want a good spring that will not completely collapse with the slightest weight in the bed. Ill take any and all suggestions. Much appreciated for the advice.

Re: Thoughts on drop amount and spring brand
I installed 2-1/2" drop spindles from Western Chassis and 1" drop springs from GMCPauls recently, and I was surprised by how low it ended up. I had 5" rear springs previously and went to 6" to level it out a bit more. It is still higher in the rear more than I'd like.

Re: Thoughts on drop amount and spring brand
The rear springs from GMCPauls are heavier duty than other springs I've had

Re: Thoughts on drop amount and spring brand
That’s great info! I just need to figure out what drop. I was thinking 5” springs.
