I need backing plates and gaskets for sport mirrors for my kids high school truck. I am looking for something affordable, don't need NOS just something that will keep the mirrors on.
Another member is hooking me up with a set of driver quality mirrors and now I need the hardware.
Do any of the vendors sell the hardware seperate?

Hi, Last week someone was selling a bunch of the plates and gaskets. Check the old posts. Might have been on Blazer section. Good luck.

Look about half way down this page. I see the gaskets separate and also complete mirror setups with backing plate. Might Email them to see if they have just the backing plate

Thanks Richard. The gaskets are available but no one seems to have just the backing plate for the 71-72 sport mirrors. I have checked with Wes, GMC Paul, LMC, Truck Shop and several others.

Let me check my stock room I may have a used pair of backing plates on the shelf but you would still need gaskets

I do have a pair but they are not in the greatest shape. $25 shipped would get them to you in a padded envelope.

I believe those are two lefts not a pair.
