Yeah, its not really the "need" for the tape player - it is more other features such as MP3 etc, pluss there is a much larger selection for the double DINs than the 1.5DINs. I actually have one of the pioneer 1.5DINs in my Camaro and it isn't half bad.
I guess I'll do some careful measuring to see what changes are necessary to slip in the double DIN. Thanks for your feedback!  Ken |
