Value of a NP205?

Hey,
What is the value of a NP205.
I think its a 10 spline, it has a 3spd manual attached to it.
I have someone intrested in the one I have and didnt want to over price or give it away either.
I've seen the sell on ebay for almost $400.
That seems high to me. I was thinking more along the lines of $200.
Whaddya think?

Denny

i think $400 is a bit overboard. I would say $100-$150 is a fair price, since it doesn't come with a 4 speed adaptor (which are hard to find) and you have never had it apart. I think the usual price of a 465/adaptor/205 is around $300, so that is my 2 cents.

Hey Denny hows it going

I just sold a 350/205 combo for $300 last month. I was going to sell the t-case by it's self for $200 and that was with the adapter. I think your in the ball park with the price you were thinking of asking.

I would guess in the 200-250 range, but I have seen them go for as low as $50. Check the message boards on ColoradoK5.com and Pirate4x4.com. There are always a few for sale on those boards and you can see what they are asking...

Thanks Landon,
I have already sold the T-case. It was a 10 spline unit so not quite a popular as the th350 ones. I got a buck and a half for it on evil-bay

No I dont know what the tranny is. It is different than the saginaw that was in my 71 2wd, perhaps a 4wd version.
BTW - The tranny is free if anyone needs it for parts. Just pick it up
