Brake booster
Need some answers about PB booster I bought.
The brake booster is for disc/drum and the reason for that is that I was planning to replace the front to disc. Now the corona virus put me in a situation that the money flow ended. So my question is: Can I use the brake booster and still have my drum/drum intact? |

Re: Brake booster
Yes the booster can be used on drum drum setup
It is the proportioning valve that will need to be for drum drum did you save the old one? Your master cylinder will need to be the booster style as well the difference is the depth of the pocket non booster master cylinder have a deeper pocket |

Re: Brake booster
Master and booster have to match up. Boosters normally aren't disc or drums. Has nothing to do with the kind of brakes you have. The master has to match the booster you use though.
If your drum brakes you have now had a booster you don't need to change anything. If your truck never had a booster then you just need a master for drum to drum that you should already have. My ramp truck with manual drums front & back. I just added the booster.
