67CHEV,

Yes it has had the drip rails shaved as well as the side marker lights and door handles.

I can't be of any help with the tech tips as after 25 years of restoring and modifying various cars and bikes I decided to treat myself to a "done" truck so I pretty much got it as you see.

SUPERCHEYNNE,

She's got a 350 which origin I haven't identified yet, a TH400, posi rear, disc frontend, powersteer, vintage air using original vents and controls. billet dash cluster, handles and winders, Flaming rivers tilt column and as seen in the pic 17" TT 2's with big rubber.

The hood looks to be aftermarket and isn't too straight so I will be looking into replacing it down the track.

It has needed a few things sorted before I could licence it but they are done and now there are a few more that I will get to in the near future.

LONGHAIR,

The photochop looks great but I would be lucky to get 5 miles without getting pulled over and defected off the road if I took it out looking like that.

The Aussie authorities are reasonable but airbags are only legal in a couple of states over here and mine isn't one of them.

Thanks for the welcome and compliments, Mark.

Hi 72 Mario,

I can't be of any help with the drop as I bought the truck as you see it and am still learning about these animals!

It appears to have stock arms, has drop spindles some big blocks on the rear and C notched chassis.

Good Luck with your truck, these things sure get people interested. I just sold a pristine 59 Vette (which I had spent over 2 years restoring) and the truck gets at least, if not more attention and for about a quarter of what the Vette was worth.

My wife loves the truck way more than the Vette so that sure makes things easier when it comes to buying stuff for it!

Regards from Australia, Mark.
