Questions about radiator

Got my radiator I won off of ebay yesterday. My problem or question is this.....The radiator I won has a 21 inch tall core, my old one was 19 inches. I am wondering if I will have problems mounting it and how? It is a 3 core just like the old one and just as wide...only difference is it's 2 inches taller! Help!

My guess is that truck might have been stock 4.3 v6, and the new one is for a 305 w/ac?

Have any pictures?

Nope....came stock with 305........has H in the vin number. I also figured it out. There are 2 metal "blocks" tack welded at the bottom of the radiator support. I knocked those out and the radiator fits perfect!

There were two different hights AND two different widths. My 75 has a Short my 79 had a tall. If you have a deisel then you get a wide (look on the core suport on driverside and you will see the bolt holes for it.). Need the correct top plate to match the radiator.

Yeah, as confusing as it is, there were just .. 2 different sizes. Always measure before you buy and you'll be safe.
