Re: Old Yeller 4x4 upgrade
I ordered a silicone Trans pan gasket for the 700R from Moroso and it seems to be a good choice. I put it in yesterday but it got too hot for me to put the fluid in. I have a drain plug on the pan that has a plastic seal. I want to change the gasket out for aluminum maybe before I put the fluid in. Just a thought. Not exactly sure where my leak was coming from as the rubber gasket I removed was not in that bad of shape and was not split. I know I have a leak at the speedo cable but that is further down the line and obvious. Gonna try some seals for the 205 speedo output soon.

Re: Old Yeller 4x4 upgrade
Well I got the wrong seals for my speedo output on the NP205. I will get the smaller ones and try that. I have the bigger ones for free to whoever wants them. I am also getting the brackets to install the Sanden Compressor for the A/C sorted out while she is down. I already have a new A/C line kit and the crimper on the shelf as well as the cross flow condenser. I may also upgrade the evaporator to the 1973 up style. Don't know. I did also acquire some 1973 ish Stock hubcaps. Those Dana 60 fronts were expensive. Now I am searching for Stock Steelies to fit them so I can lower this beast back down a little.

Re: Old Yeller 4x4 upgrade
Welcome to the site! Yeah I saw those. They are nice but expensive. I was thinking more like some used Furd Van wheels. Cheap and 7" wide. I am eventually going to bring this truck back down to earth and 10? wheels might look weird. I am getting older and this might be my old grandpa truck.
