Came with a copy of original title and all the registration cards up to the 80s.

Fired right up and drove on the trailer for its 65 mile trip back up to Austin.

Adam's Chevrolet in Bandera, TX isnt there anymore. Anyone have any info on it?
That's really nice! They are still out there...

Just when you think every stone has been turned over, one pops up.

Been looking for a 64-66 original paint truck for a while. Just never thought I would find one with most of its original paint.

Congrats on that find! I hope it proves to be as good as it appears. More pics whenever you are ready.

Re: most original 60-66 truck in existence?

Here's more proof that we are not yet done finding hidden gems.
The story is my boss had been bugging me to sell him one of mine. I was reluctant to do so, so I turned him on to a CL ad that I had recently spotted. It was half way across the country, so I warned him to ask tons of questions and assume the worst.
The answers to his questions all seemed too good to be true, as in scam good. Long story made short, the truck was bought on faith, trust in your fellow man, and few pics.
I just saw the truck in person for the first time last week, and boy what a gem! Very well preserved and mostly orig paint. A good detailing awaits, but what a solid survivor C20 it is! More details and pics when I get them.
Few and far between are the trucks that look "totally right" at first glance, but this one definitely does!

I've said it before around here, or perhaps elsewhere- this is a picture that brings the word, "Covet" to mind.

Amazing - looking forward to more pics. What is the wheel tire combo on this? They don't look like split rims which is relatively rare (I think!).

Good eye! The truck as purchased had the original 16" lock ring wheels on it. Not long after he took delivery, I happened to be caught in a moment of weakness and was persuaded to let go of a set of one-piece 19.5's for it. I think the trucks looks awesome wearing those, but I wonder if I'll ever find another set.

That's why it looks so good Interested to know what tires he's running on them. On a (sort of) related matter, are one piece 17.5's rare? Tires for 17.5's seem almost non-existent!

You have a big heart oem4me. Most newcomers don't realize how long it takes to track down a set of 19.5's ( late style ), until they do it for themselves. When they come up for sale, they often quibble about the price, but, they soon find out time is money. Sure there are newer bump wheels, but the old school character begins to disappear. Did you grab the 16's? Those 16 lock ring wheels might be a nice to have for your C.C ( red with silver ring of course), if you ever want to go back to 100% factory CC..
