68 gmc

Got this last may from uncle. Not restoring just going to make a nice driver out of it.. Was installing carpet he bought for.. Was wondering if carpet is suppose to go all the way under seat.. Or is that cut out area correct..

Yes that's the original color.. exterior has been resprayed at some point and time previous to us..

The rug was originally like that in 67 68. Not sure of 69up. Thejack tools sit in the stamped parts under the seat.

Are the door sill plates supposed to say gmc on them.. I know my 66 gmc says gmc on them and Chevrolet has the bowtie.. Not sure about gmc for this year.. The ones I have look just like the ones you can get from LMC..
