tax value on old trucks
I just got tax bill for my 69 panel.Only $42000,yea that is not typo. Called prepared to sell them a truck. Was told I would need four ext. pics and one interrior, send them pics and copy of tax bill for reappraisal . Then I thougt hey got o be some not totally restored panel on site. Please try to limit post that have photo shop(or what ever ) acroos them and tags are issue to. LMAO
Luckily there are few shot of panels pre fixing up w/o too much other info on them. Oh yea reason bill so high. They are appraised as totally restored auto if they are over certain age. Restored hell 42k is retro mod on mecums price,

Re: tax value on old trucks
No thanks I found a cpl that will work fine.
I wouldn't mine using pics of mine except a lot of stuff that is bad was Halfass covered up by someone calliing themselves a body man and it looks lot better than it is. That and the fact it is BS. I doubt that I could get 42 k out of a panel after spending 40k in restoration. Love them, but know its limited market. Plus its county stealing from those who work their butts off to make or build something, so they can support those too lazy to do anything like get a job.

Re: tax value on old trucks
So is this vehicle restored? Have insurance for the restored price? California is bad enough, hope they don't get this idea in their heads.

Re: tax value on old trucks
Mine was semi restored 18 years ago and was very sorry work. Needs more done now that yopu can not see in a picture. The reason for tax value they assume all are restored and you have to prove other wise. Like innocent till found guilty thing.
