GMC made a 1/2 ton long bed but Chevy didn't.
Outside of the obvious GMC front crossmember the only difference I can see is that it is 9-1/4 inches longer and has a second middle crossmember. I'm going to use this one under my 48 when I stretch the cab though the doors and run a stock length short bed. ![]() I've had this frame for over 20 years when my buddy gave it to me or I traded him out of it. The bad part was that the long bed running boards that you couldn't give away in the 70's and 80's have gotten real expensive lately. I got a real bad case of "OH gotta have" and paid way too much for a pair.
