I'm budget conscious (cheap) though, and I have been phoning around, apparently there are some crate engines that sit around for years and they just need to get rid of them. Looking for a deal, always.
You never know what you might find.
Back 20 years ago we found and bought two 427’s. Both 425 horse motors. They were resting in the back shop of the local Napa in Rocky Mountain House.
You just need to look in the most obscure places.
Dealerships that are closing down or expanding is a place to look.
