1.75 inch lowering blocks in the back of the 1968 Custom Camper
Took everyone’s advice and bought/installed some 1.75” lowering blocks today. Sits perfectly. The wheel well lip is exactly 34” to the ground in the front and rear. The bed of the truck sits a hair higher than the front which is perfect to me.

Nice. And by going with the blocks you still have factory load rating.

Thanks fellas, I’m really happy with how it came out. I have Plans for new tires and to fix a couple of exhaust leaks. Then she’s good to go

Did you purchase or make the blocks?
Looks like Mr. Haney would enjoy taking that for a spin! Got any other plans? I’ve never driven a C20 for other drum brakes. I know they’d have to stop way better than a half ton with front drum brakes, I have the tee shirt on that deal! |
