Somebody please educate me on this!
I recently saw a picture of a '72 K10 Cheyene on e-bay and something piqued my interest. This particular truck had the radio antenna mounted on the left (drivers) side of the front cowl. Every other one of these trucks I've ever seen has had it mounted on the right (passenger) side. Was this an option with the Cheyene package or is this the owner's "custom modification" ?

I have never seen a Drivers side mount. Might ask for pictures of the glove box label.
If Radio is not listed then could be by previous owner or a dealer install.

Luv2xclr8, what kind of 1911 is that in your picture there?
Here is a picture of the truck in question, if I can figure out how to post it.

This apears to be a after market installation. the plug on the drivers side was there if you wanted to mount a spot light so I was told, the original setup was for the passenger side to mount it, this truck may have came without a Radio in it............................
