interior redo
I decided to change out my carpet, I almost went with red but decided to stick with black. I used some kilmat (25 Sgft) . Done for today will wrap it up later.

Re: interior redo
I use Kilmat too. The price is right and the reviews are very favorable. Also, unlike other bargain deadeners it's not asphalt based.

Butyl rubber, sometimes just called "butyl", is a synthetic rubber, a copolymer of isobutylene with isoprene. The abbreviation IIR stands for isobutylene isoprene rubber. kilmat is inexpensive and very easy to install

Re: interior redo
No I had two sheets left over 18x16 inches each that I plan on installing in the doors.

Re: interior redo
Doubtful, 20 square feet is 5 x 4. I just did my truck in FatMat and it took 7.5 square feet to do each door. I used the rest of a 50 sq.ft. roll to do the back panel floor and firewall. I had to use about 15 sq.ft. from a 2nd roll.

So before anyone chimes in with you should have done the complete floor I chose to leave the trans hump bolts exposed in case I need to remove it some day. I am not doing the whole doors just a single mat in the middle of it. I am not planning to install a high end stereo system and after all these years of owning it the rattles don't bug me....
