1970 C30 C&C weight
Well, it's been a while since I've been on here. I have a 1970 C30 cab and chassis that I need to ship from Colorado to central Florida. It has no engine or tranny. I need a good guesstimate on the weight for the shipper. All responses appreciated, I need to get'er done. I'd also like to know if anyone knows a good reasonable shipper. It's about 1800 miles. I have used uship before but sometimes you can catch a ride with an open slot. The truck is 20 feet long 6'6" wide without the side mirrors mounted.

What kind of wheel base does this have? GVW? No engine or trans I would guess between 4-5k

A 1970 C30 rolling chassis with cab and NO drivetrain, NO front end sheet metal, and NO bed should weigh under 3000 pounds.

Re: 1970 C30 C&C weight
I'm pretty sure it has an Eaton on the rear. It was a camper conversion. I don't know the wheelbase but from the pics it appears to be a couple feet longer than a regular flatbed dually. The front clip is on it. I think I'll look up the weights on the engines and tranny's and subtract. I don't know the GVW, I'll see if he'll send me a pic of the spid tomorrow. I think the GVW's in the spid numbers.

Re: 1970 C30 C&C weight
From memory (not super reliable)... my 152” wb c&c was about 4,200# at the scales. Without the drivetrain I can see it getting close to 3k.
