Alternator belt replacement
Can you replace the alternator belt without removing the power steering belt?

Re: Alternator belt replacement
It might depend on the engine & accessories. I have to remove my PS belt to change my alt belt (72 K20, 350, A/C).

Re: Alternator belt replacement
Thank you stocker. Basically same set up as mine. I'm just gonna replace all the belts while I'm in there

Re: Alternator belt replacement
PS belt is pretty easy. 9/16 wrench and a small pry bar will move it enough to get the belt off.
