Trans needs rebuilt, so I will pull trans/tcase. I may build the engine, but seems to run strong.

What did you end up doing with this truck? It looks like a solid base for a project.

I guess the above quote was meant to be funny, but is an odd one for a website that is dedicated to building old trucks. Many of us, myself included put many times the value of our trucks into improving them, so that we can enjoy them. And ultimately, when we sell them, it is for less than the amount of money spent, with zero pay back on the labor. It's what we do and we love it. The point of the forum is talking about working on trucks and enjoying it together, and maybe even encouraging each other with what we're working on.

True, it's an addiction. Every time I say ok last one, I get another.
Now I have my eye on 67-68 trucks, can't stop
