Correct Valve Covers for 72 SB
I'm going to replace the aftermarket valve covers on my 72 and want to make sure I can get the right ones.
Am I correct that the 71/72s had the rubber oil fill? Would anyone with a 72 have a photo? Thanks! Brad 72 C20 Highlander, 350 |

Re: Correct Valve Covers for 72 SB
Here is a picture of a set of correct 72 valve covers. Most if not all of the 71 and earlier valve covers are the 3 hole versions.

Thanks to you both.
72 Super, just to clarify - 72 were four holes then as the pic shows (2 on each side that match)?

On the passenger side looking from the front of the truck. Rear hole is for the air cleaner hose Front hole is the oil cap. Drivers side Rear hole is for oil cap/ or oil fill tube (AC trucks) Front hole is for the PVC valve.

Re: Correct Valve Covers for 72 SB
If you have a 350 engine and factory A/C the A/C bracket goes right over top of the hole on the pas side front so its just capped.
