Now it's my turn, haha: What's an NMO?

Even if CBs have slowed down, I bet they'll come back. Too many hobbyists like us out there. I have four of them.

I had to look it up too! In fact, just to remove the old mount the OP had on the roof I had to join a CB Radio forum to ask a few questions. Seems NMO stands for "Non Motorola"....which apparently is just the new style of antenna mount that seems to be the universal standard.

Bought a vintage CB to complete the look. Hoping to start putting the interior back together in the next few weeks.

Did some research on what were quality CB's back in the day and began looking on Ebay. Found a guy in Florida who has a small shop and sells a lot on Ebay. I ended up buying one from him
