Home At Last!!!

The two sweetest girls in my life.

Just picked up the big red one form getting front discs (from earlyclassic.com..Thanks, Dave!) and rear drums to replace the paper-thin drums the PO had.

It's got lots of good work already, and enough more needed to take up my weeknds for a while: bed, body, cab etc. I got a long list.

Still trying to figure what kind of engine it's got. PO said a rebuilt 327, but nothing more than that. Did Chevy even make a 327?

Also some kind of Holley carb and a BA-AD-sounding flowmaster exhaust.

Got to get it up to the country in Washington in a few weeks and get it ready for the rain.

Thanks to all the great folks on this board for a great education so far. Gonna keep the pix coming.

Yep, 327 is a mighty fine little engine... Has a lot of years of proof behind it...
The smallest holley makes in a 4 barrel is a 390 CFM.

Okay, I'm editing my signature RIGHT NOW, and will fix it soon as I figure out how to tell what kind of carb it is. (as long as it's not one of those low-carb diet things everybody's talking about)

I don't think it was the carb he was talking about. Maybe a typo of the tranny? HT 350 to TH350? Just my .02. Nice truck

I did say "Holley 350" earlier cause thats' what the PO told me, and yeah, I think he was just confused.

I'm going to post whatever numbers I can see up here later today.

Thanks
