Not 100%, but it's not getting worse after doing this for a couple of years. It only does this occasionally. We don't drive it hard nor do we off road it. We used it in 4wd for a solid week and a half in the snow and ice and that didn't cause it to happen. Trans and t case fluids look and smell fine.
