Differences between the re-pops and OEM Tail light bezels

I happen to have both a re-pops and an OEM Tail light bezels.
The OEM one has been out of the package for years and was a little scratched up. I decided to use the GM licensed reproductions.
The OEM on is on the right side in the pictures.
The aluminum is the same thickness and side by side they look great.
The differences was in the fold on one edge and some extra aluminum on the bend at the top. The fold makes no difference but the extra aluminum holds the bezel out from the truck body slightly. I I did the trimming with a Dremel tool. It' helped the bezel sit slightly closer to the bed. I have posted both a before and after trimming picture.
Excellent reproductions that aren't overly expensive and with a little hand work can fit well and look good.
Rick
