While hooking up my speedometer the needle went to the 6 o'clock position. It still works but only goes up to the20-30mph position when driving.Odometer works. How do I reset the needle to the zero mph setting?

Re: speedometer needle

I think you will have to take the gauge out and reset the needle to the "0" position by taking the needle off and pressing it back down with your thumb, if that makes sense.

Re: speedometer needle

The speed cup has a stop so you have to set the needle at 10 mphand give it a slight push with you thumb while twisting gentle counterclockwise toward zero.

It is a feel thing and will take a few times to reset it. you can remove the neelde by turning counter clockwise and giving a slight pull up from the round part of the needle. Try and twist the needle as close to the base as you can. .

To access, pull the 8n perimeter screws and split the cluster.

hope this helps.
