Re: Tinted windows ?

Below is a picture of the Smoke Gray Back glass.
Purchased online. I am doing the same "all the glass but the front window" in the Smoke Gray. Inside it looks darker than outside.

Do you recall where that came from?

I like that smoked gray a lot, even my eyes can see the color difference.

Re: Tinted windows ?

I finally ordered my glass from Auto City after a year of going back and forth over the tint color , i was a little worried today when the box had a dented corner when Fed Ex "dropped " it off ! , But all is good and I was worried it would be too dark but it looks just fine , I called Auto City last week and asked if the glass was DOT stamped , I was assured it was and they had no problems with tint laws and being too dark , Well it's got a DOT stamp but once it's installed you won't be able to see it on the edge of the glass .

Re: Tinted windows ?

Looks good Grumpy.
I think your grey tint is a bit heavier than mine. I will be interested to see the pics once you have them installed.

Would you say the smoked grey is about the same as a light tint? I'm going to order tomorrow as the back, vent and side windows are in stock. I'll stay with the stock tinted windshield that I replaced a few years ago.

also do you know where you can get the "tape" to set the side windows in with?

The glass wrapping was stamped "eurogrey" It's a light tint , I ordered it thru Ebay and had it in 4 days , The grey was $194.00 + $40.00 shipping and tax About $255.00 all together , I'm just going to buy a windshield locally due to the high shipping costs , The setting tape comes in different thicknesses and sold in 25' length So I'm just going to look locally to one of the glass shops to buy a few feet .
