Larry, pretty sure I have a set, need to check the parts stash/ I am leaving town for several days early in the AM on Weds. I will check this thread when I get back to see if you have had any luck finding what you need.

Re: WTB 1972 Small Block Valve covers

Larry, didn't get away as quick as I wanted to this morning. Took a couple quick pics of the valve covers I have. Only the one set, thinking they are correct for the 69-71 trucks. Pretty sure in '72 the General added another hole so would be two per cover. One larger and one smaller per valve cover. Original paint, wire loom tabs intact on driver side. Couple very minor dings that don't show in the pics, should be an easy body and fender fix with a few minutes time. $30 plus shipping for the pair, money order, do not have Paypal.

72 Jimmy Power, davischevy has first right for the covers. If he passes, the ball is in your court. As mentioned, the only set I have. Do have a set of the scripted closed covers and a set of the newer covers with the wire loom brackets on top but they would not be correct for our year trucks.

Re: WTB 1972 Small Block Valve covers

I just went through trying to find the correct set for my 72 k10 and here is my 2 cents. If your truck has factory A/C you would be better off without 2 holes on that side because the compressor is going to hide the oil fill plug and to my knowledge/ searching they don't make that oil fill plug/cap and it's alot lower profile than the cap/plug for the raised oil fill tube that is on the driver's side rear valve cover hole.

Ironhorse, I got busy and forgot to respond. If these are still available, PM a price with shipping, and I will get your money on the way.

Thanks.

Larry, consider the valve covers yours. Am out of the state currently in Colorado, will be home late Monday afternoon or early evening. Will get a total with shipping costs to you by Tuesday latest. Thanks for the purchase.

Re: WTB 1972 Small Block Valve covers

Larry, got back into town late yesterday evening. About 1450 mile round trip to Colorado and back home. Had a great time but now back to business at hand.

Had to fab a box for shipping the valve covers, couldn't find one that wasn't too big, hate shipping air. Sending you a PM with payment info. Thanks again.
