This is the tank I had made to mount between the last two crossmembers in the frame, side fill

That was smart. I found the same negative response from machine shops. I'll remember this.

I did a newer suburban tank in my 62 burb with bands to hold it up works good dident have to remove anything to install. Might give you an idea.
