Red face Re: LT1 engine swap

I thought all 3 needed the crossmember notched? Just to different extents. I am planning to go with the Camaro or Caprice water pump for heater reasons. The Vette does it a weird way that can bypass my heater core with out there complete setup. So when I get the spare motor I will use its front drive to make the mods I need.

Either way that is a project for another time as the mighty yet underpowered 305 runs like a peach. So I will just gather parts for the swap, and make a test bed for the crossmember. My 83 is a light duty truck with 1" rotors, and I want C20 gear for bigger brakes.
