Re: What's your truck's Name

I sometimes call my 89 K1500 the "Blue Ox" because I mostly use it for firewood

My 99 Silverado is simply, "99"

My 50 I sold a couple years ago was "Peesacrap"

Re: What's your truck's Name

My white pickup used to be "my pickup" or the "Jimmy" not to be confused with the original "Jimmy" which was my two ton log truck long ago traded away.

So then I got the "blue pickup" or just "my pickup" as opposed to the "white pickup" or "Jimmy".

The Suburban was always the "Suburban" which we traded in for the "new white pickup" not to be confused with the "old white pickup" ("Jimmy"). Either the new white pickup or the old blue pickup are sometimes just "my pickup" depending on the context. like what are we driving to town this trip? ("your car" or "my pickup")

The Jeep has always been "the jeep" except sometimes it is a "piece of junk" when it starts making a new noise or starts a new leak

The Toyota is either the "4Runner" or the "Toyota" except sometimes it is "your car" when speaking to the household manager

So we're mostly not very poetic about vehicles. But the cats all have interesting names, including "Nell" the stray that sometimes lets me pet her. Guess where I came up with that name?

Oh ... but we still need to come up with a name for the lone wild turkey that hangs around since she hurt one leg last year. She went off with the flock somewhere for the winter but now she is back at our barn mostly.

Re: What's your truck's Name

My 2003 white 3/4 ton is called “White privilege” due to the fact that driving a white truck in the 100 plus degree Texas summer is a privilege not afforded to all.
