tilt column

they did make them but good luck finding one. Saw one at Charlotte Auto fair several years ago and they wanted big$$$ for the thing. Don't remember who had it, but they had several rebuilt columns. You might try looking in Hemmings and see what is listed in services.

Curious, what do they go for on ebay and Brian you should identify yourself so we dont bid against each other for something like that.

tilt column

My ebay name is burnsman. I missed the one at like $260. I think another was around $280. The other two were in the $330-$350 range. I put a limit of $300 (or there-abouts). I don't mind paying a good buck for something I want, but some people are insane!

I got one from The Truck Shop in Orange Ca for around $300.00. It was totally rebuilt with new bearings, harness and cancelling cam. It has a short shaft like the original so it bolted right in. I'm really pleased with it.

A truck I looked at had a tilt out of a Nova or something like that. Looked kinda weird though.

We use and sell the IDIDIT manual tilt steel column made for the 67-72 chevy-gmc truck, it's a direct bolt in installiation and comes with the lever dress up kit and correct harness. It is a very smooth operating tilt for around 340.00 with shipping
