A/C compressor rebuild service near me

Does anyone in or around northwest Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas know of a shop that specializes in A/C compressor rebuilds. I'd like to have mine done and could probably do it myself but never have tore into one and don't have some of the special tools that they say you need. Just don't want to put it all together and have problems right off the bat. I know some of the big A/C companies do it on the side but the only one's that pop up on Google are in Florida and Arizona. I think shipping would kill me both ways.

Don't know if this is even in the ballpark of getting a rebuild done, but an AC Delco reman is right at $200 on Rock Auto including shipping (to my zip in MO) with no core charge. I considered this until I went with an aftermarket system and replacing everything. Just an idea if all else fails.

Re: A/C compressor rebuild service near me

Mine was before the Covid. Everything has changed.

The last two I ordered from the parts store were metric. I tapped the holes for SAE.

The parts store rebuilds are priced all over the place. I can't tell if there is a difference in quality.
