LMC Bed Rail Caps?

Anyone had actual use with the side rail caps from LMC? Thinking about a set for my 71 4x4. Any one using them have any pro or con comments? Do they have the stake pocket holes cut or are they solid? Want to use tie downs in the stake holes. Is LMC the only one who has them to fit the 67-72 bed rails with the flared stake pocket at the tailgate? Are they specially made for LMC or who makes them? Thanks for any replies.

I have sold a couple of sets of those and there are not any stake pocket holes cut in them. That is not to say you couldn't cut them in however. I have yet to see them installed on the truck though, but should in the next couple of weaks. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Wes, Thanks for the reply. Would you please give your evaluation of the quality verses price and the fit at the rear stake pocket where it flares. Would also like to hear your opinion within that couple weeks time period.

Either me or my wife ordered a set by accident that I would give someone a real good buy on them.

Can anyone post a pic of these bed rail covers? I couldn't find them on LMC's web site, and our catalog hasn't shown up yet.

Thanks...SSOW
