Blazer weatherstripping
Anyone know who's got the best deal on weatherstripping for a blazer? I stripped out the old soggy carpet today ( luckily- no serious rust problems underneath) and now it's like riding in a big tin can. I need to get new seals and new carpet soon.
Also- I talked to a guy with a Bestop soft top- new, never used. He said it fit 69-75 and was purchased for a 74. I find it hard to believe it could fit both body styles but would like to know for sure. Thanks |

For door opening weatherstrip for Blazer/Jimmy
http://www.gmcpauls.com/rubber&weather_strip.htm Bestop was making a 69-72 top and a 73 up. They however were not interchangeable. GMCPaul |

I doubt that that top is going to work on your truck if it was for a '74. There was talk of a group buy on ColoradoK5.com but I don't know if it happened yet or if it is still going to happen.
I don't know what your plans are but I'm going to put a Rhino (or some other brand) lining in my Blazer and run it all the way up to the dash. I may put carpet on top of that up by the driver's seats too. Several others have done this already on this board and CK5.

The guy only wanted $350 for that top, damn it.
I also want to rhino my interior- but I've got lots to do before that point. |
