I am just trying to get educated here. Can you expain what makes this a 67 only 4 speed boot? The reason I ask is because I am restoring a 67 with a 4 speed. To my uneducated eye it looks like a lot of others. And does it use a painted steel trim ring/ Thanks, george

The 67 had a SM420 4 speed.
After that GM changed to the SM465
The shift towers are different.
