1969 c20 8 lug disc brake conversion
Hello everyone,
so I'm doing a disc brake conversion on a 1969 2wd c20 8 lug, kit comes complete except dust shields... are the shields the same from c10 to c20? the mounting holes look the same on my new 3/4 ton spindles. |

Can anyone confirm this? I also have a c20 with rough dust shields and just ordered new ones for a C10 so we'll see I guess

I also did the disc conversion on my 69 C20 and can confirm C10 dust shield did not fit. I still need to find a set of C20 dust shields.

Re: 1969 c20 8 lug disc brake conversion
Has anyone found a source for C20 8 lug dust shields?
I'm about to put the POL disc conversion kit on, but it would be nice to have the dust shields. |

Re: 1969 c20 8 lug disc brake conversion
73 87 c20 will be your best bet for used dust Sheila's older g series vans may be a possibility as well the g20 has 1/2 ton spindles and a arms center link is wrong though

Re: 1969 c20 8 lug disc brake conversion
I purchased dust shields from ebay because they were listed as c20. They didn't work with my C20 drop spindles. I am fairly certain they are actually C10 shields. If the ones you found work let us know. Good luck!
Goodmark sells part# Q824ZD & GMK4143595711P both come up on ebay as correct for C20 but are listed on other sites as C10 series only.

Re: 1969 c20 8 lug disc brake conversion
The ones from GMCPauls don't fit either, with our dropped spindles anyway.
