New Project *Including Pix!*

Well, i've decided to abandon the idea of the c20, so I was out driving down a couple roads yesterday, and I managed to find a 69 c10. So I go and look at it, got a PERFECT shape METAL bed floor, Tach in the dash(orig?!). PO just installed a BRAND new NEVER fired 283 bored 40 over in the truck(I need to pull pushrods, toss new ones in, put my intake and carb on / and break motor in / etc. Owner wanted $700 at first, I managed to get him down to $500. The truck's in decent shape for the age, in the deal I Also got two PERFECT doors, new rockers, new cab corners, New tail light lenses, new tail light bezels, new glasspacks and a load of other new stuff. Here are some pictures.

The main body parts that really need work is the hood, and the tailgate and rear bumper. All of which i'll probably dump for new parts from goodmark.

That looks like a good truck for the money. Nice find.

I wonder if that two-tone blue is factory? There were a few years where they had two-tone dark and light green combo.

Good find!

Nice Tool Boxes. I like the way they look. Good luck with the truck.

Should get it home by tomorrow, picking up plates for it today... Should have it out on the road by friday night so I can go bust on my friends 79 c10 stepside with a 350... I'll show him what the mighty-mouse can do... So far, once I get it home, looks like i've got to swap out the pushrods and rockers (rusty ), Then i'm going to toss on my other edelbrock perf. intake and a holley 650cfm DP I have sitting around. Then it's time to go schoolin' some other trucks :-p
