That fuel line you have works best on the carb. Yours just needs some tweaking.
Here’s an idea for a nice bracket for your linkage. They have better ones than this example.
Look on Holley.com.
When you remove the Teflon and if you still have leaks just ask and we’ll help fix it.
You need to be careful removing wires. When in doubt ask what they’re for.
