Putting a 72 body on a 86 burb frame

I was wondering if anyone has put a 72longbed body on a 86 4x4 suburban frame? The burb frame has a 5inch lift on it now. Some people say that the cab of the 72 will sit higher on the frame is this true? There is 2inches different in the wheelbase the burb is 129 inches and the 72 is 127inches. Any help will be appreciated.

You may want to talk to mudder67. He put a 67 swb step body on a 73 up 4wd frame. I am pretty sure a body lift is required due to differences in the frame.
