Help with embedding Youtube video - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was trying to embed an video to one of my post today and tried everything to get the video show inside the thread.
If anyone knows how it is done can you please show by example. Thanks!

I don't believe that it is possible to embed a video in this forum. Posting a link to it when it is posted somewhere else is the only option I am aware of.
Do a search for more information on this.

I believe it stopped working. Probably broken software on the forum or youtube changed. This thread used to have lots of embedded videos and now they don't work, you must click the title bar of the video to play the video in another window. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=781885

the video still works, if you are using the http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=781885 link to the tread/forums. Otherwise, it will be gray/blank and will need to click on the title.

Oh, I see, thanks. Not very functional, since most likely people use the standard https link to the forum and a lot of folks would have trouble figuring it out or find it not worth their while to change their bookmark. So, you can't count on somebody else seeing the embedded video, you can only count on seeing your own post having the embedded videos.

I just right click/copy link on the title or picture of the video from the list on the right (if already viewing a video) on YT. If it's the video you are watching it won't work. When I go to the thread I right click again and paste. Then I take just the 's' off of https at the front of the link code. It's that simple.

I noticed a month or so ago many songs I had linked only showed the box, no picture, and the title up top. You could still click on the title and watch the video.

Also when all is good with picture showing, if you click on the picture you get the video but can't enlarge and you view in size shown in thread. If you click on the title it opens on YT and you can enlarge it.
