And that 292 looks odd.

She was a stump puller for sure from the factory. (At least the SPID was) 292 with a 4 speed and a posi 4.57 rear end.

Looks like it had a NP435 trans instead of a Muncie. Maybe it might have been a snowplow rig at one time- sure beefed up the front springs too.

I see the SPID quotes L25 292CuIn L6, but that's a small block Chevy V8 with rams' horn exhausts. Oil pan is painted red which is proper GMC engine color.

All he had that held air were a set of 88 and up wheels. The fronts had to be put on backwards to clear. Notice it still has a trim ring on the inside. I had less than an inch between the wheel wells on my trailer to load.

I agree on the body swap, '67 cab on '72 frame. That passenger fender had the side marker hole filled. Many odd parts are swapped, such as the instrument panel ('68)

Har Har Har. Good point. I've heard of Circle Track guys building a ''Cheater 292'' by over boring the F&*@ out of a 250 block.
Not sure if they use a post- '68 292 crank in that, it has 12 lobes instead of 6. Some kinda midget racing voodoo.
What I meant was that a V8 is not an RPO L25 292 L6.
[* Actually, at .030-over my 292 is really 296 CuIn, but try asking for parts for a 296. They'll wonder what dimension you just phased in from...]

Is there any emergency brake mechanism in the cab? I can't see if it had the 67 under the dash pull handle or the later e-brake pedal. It also looks like the engine is set back in the 4 wheel drive position. I don't recognize the fan shroud however. My 71 and 72 K10's have a different shroud. I also can't tell if it has a long or short water pump.
