Paint lines at rear tail light

Anyone have a good picture of a two tone paint scheme at the rear tail light? I'm not going to have the trim piece around the tail light and need to know how to terminate the two tone. I'm considering painting the tailgate all one color or should it really be two tone, as well? Any help is appreciated.

Pretty much what I will have, without the chrome trim around the tail light. I'd like to see where the white stops. Should it wrap around the inside of the bed?

Re: Paint lines at rear tail light

here's what the original paint on my truck looks like in around the bed corner.you can see how the green breaks off from the white on the bed side right under the long upper molding.without the molding around the tail light, the tape break must just head to the opening for the back up light lens?

Thanks for the pictures. It's a little different than I imagined. Sure looks like you just stop everything at the tail light.

no problem on the pictures, need anymore, just holler.i forgot to say, this truck is Fremont,California built truck, other plants may have done things differently but i doubt it?i had a big block longhorn truck, olive and white like this one, from Fremont as well, but only a white top,and a double painted on pinstripe where the upper molding would be.the stripe stopped at the end of the bed side before getting to the rear corner and the tail lights but i imagine the break off for 2-tone is at the backup light ?
