Exclamation 1983 C20 For Sale (New England)

I need to sell my 1983 C20. I'm pricing it as a parts truck, but I was using it as a daily driver (for about a year) up until a few months ago when I got a YAT (Yet AnotherTruck).

1983 Chevy C20 Longbed Fleetside
5.0L 4BBL 4SPD Manual (SM465) (aka 'Granny Gear')
Some new parts, lots of old parts, some unidentified parts.

Pics and better description at:

1983 Chevy C20 Page

Someone gimme a hand: I actually need to sell this truck so that I can have the room to pull out the parts of _another_ truck (1970 C10 SBSS) so I can sell that one, too. Ain't havin kids grand?

Actually, it's a C20, not a C30.
Still for sale, just $400.

Actually a C20

Since the replies I've had have all asked the same thing:

The engine runs OK, but I wouldn't call it 'great'. Truck starts and runs ok. It idles a little rough. Under normal driving conditions, it runs OK. If you rev the engine out of gear, there is some popping. If you were to floor it for a few seconds and lift suddenly (like when you change gears 2-3), you can sometimes get a pretty good backfire out of it.

I'm almost certain it's the carb. The truck comes with a spare one, but it sat on a shelf for years and needs to be rebuilt too. However, since the truck has around 150K on it, and it was definitely a tow vehicle at some point, if I were to keep the truck I would probably start looking for a used replacement motor.

I know, honesty will kill me some day. I'd make a really crappy used car salesman.

It's a shame, because I just gave away a pretty good 60K mile 305 because it was in a (Nova) chassis I was selling.

Now that I've thoroughly discouraged everybody, any takers?
