If you're still looking I have a NP205 shifter that I believe (based on other threads on the forum) to be 1971-72.
It's listed with all my other NP205 parts on the 1973-87 classifieds.

Here's a picture. If I remember correctly I stripped the shifter down and primed/painted it with rattle-can Rust-Oleum (gloss black) 10+ years ago.
The paint has been chipped, scuffed and aged to a point that it will need to be redone.
