I am not shure if I'm missing a wire or something. look at the pics and tell me if it looks allrite.

is there supposed to have a wire on the first pic in that litle hole?

You have everything right for the horn to work. The "spring" is actually part of the horn contact. When you press on the horn the spring depresses and contacts the steering wheel grounding the horn relay, (causing the horn to blow).

The "spring" looks pretty rusty and may need to be cleaned up at the contact area, (contact area is the inner lower lip). Make sure the steering wheel is clean where the "spring" contacts it.

My spring plate was flexed (bowed ) when I installed it.I put it in one way and it didnt work. I removed it and flipped it over , re installed it and it worked fine .pics look like everything is there. make sure you are getting good contact on parts

i recently had same problem. rubbing steel wool on the contact parts solved the problem.
