I called GM, and they said those things were added during the model run after my truck was built. If I recall correctly, the build date they gave me was toward the end of the second week of December, 1968. The actual date may have been Friday Dec. 12. My truck was produced about 800 before another Fremont truck (9Z833902) on your list with the 12/5/1969 build sheet. Any estimate of what the lag time is between build sheet issuance to actual build, or how many trucks were built per day?
I think your build date would be 12/4 or 12/5. I saw your POP posted on another thread so I added it here.

Not much exists to my knowledge. Your pic is the highest 8T serial number on the list at the moment. Hopefully we find some more and can get an idea how many trucks they produced that year. Also, you won't find a blue door sticker until MY 1970.

On a side note, I have updated post 50 to include hyperlinks for each reference post. I also started inferring a few a dates that can be confidently narrowed down to a few days or even a particular day; those dates are italicized.

9Z833099 = 12/68

67 GMC
ZC3179A = 9/66 (post 287) L = September, but doesn't match up with other 67 GMC serial numbers on our list...??
