Wash your spring hangers (photos)

I'm working on my 76/79 and found the rear spring hangers to be shot. They were overflowing with mud. The photos will show what I found after a good wash job. I bought new to me hangers at the junk yard from a wrecked 86, guess well see how easy they are to repalce.

use grade 8 bolts in place of the rivets, and it will be pretty easy to replace.
